Halo 4 - Pure Awesomeness.

I am a gamer.

I am a gamer of all types of games: cards, board, pc, console. You name it, I play it.

The latest game...

Halo 4.

Wow. Awesome game.

It's actually a bit funny how much I have come to love the Halo franchise, since just a few years ago I didn't enjoy it at all.

Most of that non-enjoyment came from the face that I just wasn't used to the XBox controller. My system of choice has always been the Playstation (though they made me quite unhappy when the PS3 wasn't backwards compatable, but that is a different story), and for someone who is used to the smaller controllers of the PS, the larger XBox controllers can be very difficult to get used to.

So, when I tried Halo for the first time four years ago, I was not a fan. I didn't get the controls, I hated the controller. Long story short, my Halo experience lasted all of 30 minutes or so before I was done. It was also the multiplayer battle, so I didn't have any experience with the storyline.

Fast forward to mid 2012. My husband talks me into playing the original Halo.

Lo and behold, I loved it. I got the controls (I guess my brain has subconsciously practiced them for the last three and a half years and now understood them) and I didn't mind the XBox controller.

We played the co-op storyline, and I was hooked.

Now I've played every one except for Halo Wars, only since that is a single player and when I do have time to really play, my husband and I work on the co-op campaign (this time we are doing it on Legendary. Soooooooo much longer, but so much fun!)

I can't wait until the next one is released.

It's going to be great!
